Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coding Technical Analyst to serve as
a revenue cycle, technology, and coding expert for the Coding team
and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve billing/account edits and denials while coding and
abstracting accounts
Provide training and support for new coders on processes and
applications
Participate in coding-related IT projects, testing, and
communication of issues and resolutions
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
High school graduate or GED with a completed course in anatomy and
physiology
Cert Coding Spec or Cert Prof Coder or Reg Health Information Admin
or Reg Health Information Tech required upon hire
AAPC certification required upon hire
Minimum 2 years of acute care coding experience
Minimum 1 year experience resolving coding/billing account edits
and/or denials
