Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Specialist - Small
Commercial Underwriting.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite risks in the Small Commercial Business Unit, including
Connect (BOP), Workers Compensation, Auto, and Umbrella
segments
Manage an assigned portfolio to achieve profitability, retention,
and growth goals
Develop and maintain strong agency relationships to drive
performance and identify cross-sell opportunities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; professional
designations preferred
Typically, a minimum of three to five years of underwriting
experience
Advanced knowledge of underwriting and P&C insurance industry
theories and practices
Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment
Strong analytical skills and ability to exercise independent
judgment
