Job Description:
A company is looking for a Narrative Designer to work on
Subnautica 2.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with design and world teams to create player encounters
based on game narrative
Translate game lore, characters, and storylines into gameplay
Develop narrative design documentation and assist in integrating
text and voice over
Required Qualifications
Experience shipping at least 2 game titles in a design-focused
role
Experience implementing gameplay in Unreal 5 engine
Ability to express narrative beats as gameplay moments in
engine
Deep understanding of the survival game genre and knowledge of the
Subnautica franchise
Self-managing and self-motivated, capable of executing high-level
ideas with limited guidance
