Job title: Program Leader - Community Outreach and SupportReporting to: Mission Director and working closely with the Sr. PastorHours: 10 hrs per week - Location: San Diego (CA)Rate: 18 to 20$ per hourOverview:The Rise Mission is to provide healing, deliverance, and support to those facing challenges such as homelessness, substance abuse, and alcohol addiction. Our approach involves reaching out to individuals one-on-one and conducting community outreach programs. Additionally, we serve as a restoration center and community space, functioning as a house of prayer where we offer the ministry of the Word, deliverance, and healing with the sole purpose of restoring lives.Job DescriptionPosition Description:The Program Leader for the Community Outreach and Support will play a key role in leading outreaches and "no walls" church services to connect with individuals experiencing homelessness and those trapped in alcohol abuse and drug addiction. This position involves coordinating and conducting outreach activities, managing volunteers, fostering partnerships with local organizations, churches, and food banks, and tracking the distribution of essential supplies to those in need.Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Mission Director to develop and implement outreach strategies to reach individuals facing homelessness and substance abuse.
• Conduct regular outreach activities to build relationships and trust and understand the unique needs of the target population.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for outreach activities.
• Attend meetings on a weekly basis with the Director and the Sr. Pastor.
• Implement systems for tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of outreach activities.
• Prepare regular reports on program outcomes, volunteer engagement, and community impact.Qualifications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with the targeted population. Knowledge of issues related to homelessness, substance abuse, and addiction recovery. Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire the team.
• Compassion and a heart of service for individuals facing challenges.
• Experience in Evangelism and sharing the message of Salvation.
• Ability to make a positive impact in the community in need.
• Willingness to gain valuable experience in leading community outreaches.
