$18 - $22 per hour Easily Apply Hiring Multiple Candidates Full time Zen Educate is looking for educators who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to the lives of children in San Diego. We're currently hiring for Educational Assistants and Paraprofessionals. In this role you will support licensed teachers with academic adaptations, self-care, and social/behavioral needs. Key Duties:

• Assisting licensed staff in the classroom
  • Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
    • Work with individuals and/or small groups when activities and assignments are presented
      • Provides support for students in crisis
        • Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student's learning experiences and support them as needed Minimum Requirements:
          • High School Diploma
          • Experience working with children Preferred Requirements:
            • First Aid & CPR Certification
            • Previous experience working in schools and with children
            • Crisis prevention training
            • Behavioral Technician or PCA experience Additional Requirements:
              • Additional requirements include US Work Authorization. Zen Educate is unable to sponsor any employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
              • Applicants must have proficiency in English Pay:
                • $18 - $22 per hour Schedule:
                  • Monday to Friday
