Job Description:
A company is looking for a mid-level compliance attorney for a
remote, 3+ month engagement within the L&E team of a global
energy company.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on compliance with California laws and regulations
Assess risk areas and assist in prioritizing legal and compliance
issues
Collaborate with internal teams, including HR, to ensure compliance
initiatives are effectively implemented
Required Qualifications:
Mid-senior level attorney with substantial in-house experience in
compliance for a global company
Extensive knowledge of California law is required
Experience in the energy sector is preferred
Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least
one U.S. jurisdiction
