Job Description:

 
We are looking for a Systems Engineer for one of our clients in the downtown area of San Diego, CA.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
• Five years experience in an enterprise network / server support environment
• Experience deploying and managing Linux running Oracle and Windows server environments
• Experience design and troubleshooting simple to complex mail routing and DNS configurations
• Experience with CITRIX XenApp and Xendesktop administration
• Experience managing VMWare Infrastructure on vSphere 4.1 / 5.1 / 5.5 Enterprise
• Experience with data center migrations and P2V and V2V conversions
• Experience with backup solutions in a Virtualized environment
• Experience implementing and managing converged infrastructure such as Vblock solution
• Knowledge of Active Directory logical and topographical design principles
• Effective communications and documentation skills in a compliance-regulated environment
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the migration of multiple email solutions within the organization to Office 365
• Support 3rd party vendors on migrating systems from various data centers into the new Data Center
• Support the migration of Oracle DBs running on Unix onto Linux platform
• Serve as Level 3 support for incident escalations
• Support CITRIX XenApp and Xendesktop environments
• Work with vendor technical support on advanced technical issues
