Job Description:

Join our team as a Cook at Leatherby's Cafe Rouge in Costa Mesa, California, where you'll prepare food for guest orders, communicate with serving team members, and craft unforgettable dishes that tantalize our guests' taste buds. You'll work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail, following recipe guidelines, sanitation procedures, and working cooperatively with team members and management.Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 / hour. • Follow supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products for guests.
• Set up, operate and clean kitchen equipment, maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment.
• Work cooperatively with team members and management, following supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures.Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
  • 1 year of experience in or at a similar role.Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift 30 lbs or more.
    • Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching.
    • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.
