• Certification Details
• CA License
• BLS - Basic Life Support: AHA Healthcare Provider only
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support: AHA - Must have a copy of the front and signed back
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Preferred, not required for just ER placements
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure: AHA or AAP only
• CHEMO - Chemotherapy: Chemo Certified APHON required for Hemotology/Oncology
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course: Preferred but not required for ER and Peds ER
• Various certifications for different tech positions

  • CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION - PEDS CARDIAC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested
  • Traveler must be willing to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
  • Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
  • Experience with ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG
  • Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery, trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness
    • Job Requirements
    • CA License
    • First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
    • Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
    • BLS
    • PALS
    • 2 full recent years of Pediatric CARDIAC ICU experience
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 variable or straight night shifts
      • 4-5 weekend shifts Sat-Sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of Fri-Sat nights
      • Traveler gets off one full weekend every 4-week schedule
      • 13-week contracts
      • Requested Time Off: Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)
      • Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays

          • Valid photo ID is required. Must have front and back copies. Traveler must present on their first day.
