Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN CVPICU for a travel nursing job in San Diego, California.Job Description & Requirements

Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Children's facility. **May submit without CA license as long as it is in hand for start** Required: --- CA License --- 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment--- PEDS Cardiac exp - MUST be cardiac trained--- Heart transplant experience --- Willing to float between units --- BLS --- PALS --- Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation --- Flu shotTraveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED. The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center. Shifts: (discussed in interview) --- 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available --- Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. For night shift it is any combination of Fri/Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat/Sun.--- 13 week contracts Requested Time Off: 6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week) *Self scheduling! Ratio:1:1-2 Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO.
