Job Description The Facilities Maintenance Manager (MM) ensures
that the facility and ancillary support systems are fully
operational and that the shipyard buildings, shop equipment and
other related support systems meet the needs of the people that
work in them. The MM is accountable for developing project work
plans, scheduling maintenance, repair and capital improvement
construction projects and, ensures that company assets including
vehicles, cranes, parking lots, warehouses, production
shops/equipage, office and IT systems are in in a suitable working
condition to support business objectives. Works with external
vendors and contractors to meet company objectives. Interacts
clearly, constructively and positively with all functional
departments and senior leadership to ensure projects are completed
on-time and with minimal disruption to planned events. Collaborates
with other departments to determine project elements and
priorities. Works closely with Finance and Procurement departments
to determine budgets, resources, and material needs for all
projects. Acts as communication liaison between subcontractors and
senior management. Ensures adherence with governing regulatory and
port authorities, environmental and safety compliance, permitting
agencies and, adherence to building codes and permitting
requirements for applicable projects. Solicits and provides
supporting documentation for cost estimates on design, labor, and
materials, along with other project costs related to capital
project programs. Oversees Business Continuity and Incident
Management Responses as the site lead. Manages all real estate
affairs to include leases in plant, waterborne and offsite. This
position is located at a ship yard; candidate will also be
responsible for additional location at Industrial Blvd. Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
8 Years supervisory or management
experience in a shipyard/repair facility environment accompanied
with a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.PMP
Certification a plusMust be able to obtain and maintain DBIDS
access card.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Ability to create/update project
schedule and resources loaded schedules using Microsoft Project and
AutoCad.Understanding of Gantt schedules which include:
'forward/backward pass' analysis to identify schedule impacts,
delays for key milestone activities is preferred. Ability to work
independently to resolve issues as they are encountered while
maintaining a team atmosphere conductive to growing the
business.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $96470 -
$164010Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
