Job Description:

We are seeking short-term, long-term part-time, and full-time Teaching Assistants to work with school districts.Zen Educate seeks passionate educators who contribute positively to children's educational journeys and communities. Teaching aides will support licensed teachers and gain valuable experience.Key duties include:

• Assisting the classroom teacher
• Reinforcing instructed material with individual or small groups of students
• Compiling classroom communications
• Maintaining a conducive learning environment
• Ensuring a safe learning environment
• Utilizing various learning methods to enhance student experiences and provide support
• Comfortable with personal care responsibilitiesMinimum requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of college (48 units)
  • AA degree or higher
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skillsPreferred requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • ParaPro Certification or similar
    • Prior work experience in a school
    • Experience working with children with special educational needsAdditional requirements:
      • US Work Authorization
      • Proficiency in EnglishPay:
